The ex-bikie founder of a fight club in Sydney’s inner west has died after being hospitalised following a double shooting on Friday.
Albert Rick Difloriano, 55, died at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital on Sunday after he was shot in the head in a targeted incident in a quiet Lewisham street.
Mr Difloriano was transported to hospital in a critical condition on Friday afternoon, where he remained under police guard.
He was in a serious condition on Saturday.
Armed police officers had found Mr Difloriano hours after another man, 36-year-old Aleksandar Stevanovic, died from a gunshot wound to his chest at Henry Street, Lewisham.
Mr Difloriano was in a nearby home when he was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head.
The two men were known to each other, police said.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
